Framework and Definitions
In this document, the following expressions have these meanings:
- “website” means the internet pages at chance-bonus.cz, an independent project providing information on the Chance brand that is affiliate in nature as well;
- “user” means any natural or legal person who visits the website or otherwise uses what is published on it;
- “affiliate link” means a link leading to a gambling operator or its business partners, the use of which may earn the website operator a commission.
The document governs how users relate to the operator of chance-bonus.cz. The address contact@chance-bonus.cz is available for contacting the operator.
Purpose and Character of the Site
The purpose of chance-bonus.cz is to provide independent information about online gambling, in particular about the Chance brand, in the form of overviews, reviews and news. All of its content is purely informational.
The website operator does not run gambling and is not an operator under zákon č. 186/2016 Sb., on gambling, as amended. For that reason, it is not possible to register a player account, deposit funds, play or undergo identity verification on the website.
The rules and conditions that bind players are set directly by CHANCE a.s., IČO 28178815, Politických vězňů 156/21, 266 01 Beroun as the gambling operator. The licence from the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic held by this company can be found in the public MF ČR list of licensed operators, known as the Whitelist.
Who Owns the Content and the Brand Names
May I reuse the website's content? For your personal needs, yes. Any other use, such as distributing, copying or modifying it, requires the operator's prior written consent. The texts, graphics, databases, structure and source code of the website are protected under the Czech Copyright Act (zákon č. 121/2000 Sb.), as amended.
Who owns the Chance name? Its owner, not the website operator. The operator has no rights to these trademarks and mentions them only descriptively, so that it is clear which brand and products the information concerns. Mentioning the marks on the website creates no relationship between the website operator and their owner.
Affiliate Partnerships and Disclosure
In accordance with Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection, as amended, we point out that the website contains affiliate links. These may take users to the pages of a gambling operator or its business partners.
A click on an affiliate link may entitle the website operator to a commission. The user bears no additional costs for this. Ratings, ordering and the content of information on the website are not affected by it.
Responsibility for Information and Links
Accuracy of information
The website operator puts reasonable effort into keeping the content current and correct; even so, some information may turn out to be incomplete, outdated or inaccurate. The texts are informational only and are no substitute for professional advice, whether legal, financial, tax or other. Before any decision, the user is obliged to verify the details in official sources, in particular with the gambling operator itself.
Third parties
The website is not responsible for the content or availability of third-party pages it links to, nor for the offers and conditions of the gambling operator. The website operator is not a party to any legal relationship that the user has with the gambling operator. The website bears no liability for harm or losses caused by using information or services of third parties.
A Website for Adults
Pages with information about gambling are accessible only to people over 18 years of age. By using the website, the user confirms that they meet this condition. The website is off limits to anyone younger.
The gambling the website reports on is covered by zákon č. 186/2016 Sb., on gambling, and the following applies to it: “The Ministry of Finance warns: Participation in gambling may lead to addiction.” 18+
Privacy and Cookies
In handling personal data, the website observes the rules of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the Processing of Personal Data, as well as other regulations that concern it. Disputes and the Competent Bodies
The use of the website is subject to the legal order of the Czech Republic, in particular the Civil Code, and to other relevant regulations. A dispute may be brought before the general court of the website operator in the Czech Republic.
For consumers, the following also applies:
- out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes is handled by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ČOI), Štěpánská 567/15, 120 00 Prague 2, with information at www.adr.coi.cz;
- the European online dispute resolution platform, whose address was ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, has been shut down and no longer accepts complaints.
How the Terms Change
- The website operator reserves the right to change or add to the terms at any time, unilaterally.
- A change becomes effective when the new wording is published on the website.
- The user is obliged to familiarise themselves with the valid wording regularly.
- Anyone who continues to use the website after a change agrees to the current wording of the terms.
End of the Document
This provision concludes the terms of use. They take effect on the day they are published on the website, and anything not expressly regulated in them is governed by the applicable legal regulations of the Czech Republic.
